Teachers within the Cessnock Community of Great Public Schools (CCGPS) are among the most highly trained in NSW.
Our teachers and administrative staff come from a wide range of social, cultural and educational backgrounds, creating a wonderful mix that caters for all students in our schools.
Staff within the CCGPS work closely across schools, sharing resources, expertise and teaching ideas. Our staff are committed to ensuring that each and every child in our schools reaches their full potential, while creating a safe and happy learning environment where students enjoy coming to school.
"As a teacher at Mount View High School since 1988, I am continually inspired by the quality of educational programs delivered by the supportive staff and the happy, motivated students I teach every day. As a parent, it is satisfying to see my two children experience diverse opportunities to develop skills, build confidence and excel in academic, cultural and sporting pursuits. As a strong supporter of public education, I am delighted and proud to be a part of such a dynamic and rewarding place of learning."
Larayne Jeffery
