Mayoral Academic Challenge
Schools from the Cessnock LGA participate in a general knowledge contest to compete for prize money to spend on resources for their school.
Volunteering Our Time
Schools also often work with community organisations such as Lions International to help strengthen student leadership qualities. Programs such as Lions Youth of the Year and Leo Clubs are run in conjunction with our local high schools to further develop student leadership qualities.
