Outdoor education

Students in all CCGPS schools are inspired in our natural environment through a range of programs and activities that teach students about environmental sustainability, and food production.

These include

school gardens that often link back into school canteens
environmental conservation days such as Clean Up Australia Day and National Tree Day

As well as learning about the great outdoors in existing subjects, high schools offer additional elective subjects such as agriculture and farm skills where they can participate in:

viticulture
aquaculture
beekeeping
chicken production
local and state shows
field excursions, eg. AgQuip, Tocal and local wineries
