Technology

Technology is embedded in lessons across all classes in CCGPS schools using:

  • interactive whiteboards
  • connected classrooms (video conferencing)
  • computer labs
  • iPads/tablets
  • laptops
  • websites
  • blogs
  • social media
  • digital story telling using school software and interactive courses such as PhotoVoice
  • additional school initiatives, eg. radio stations
  • middle school programs where year 6 students are invited to their feeder high school to participate in hands-on lessons, eg. formula 1, robotics
  • cybersafety lessons

As well as integrating technology into lessons, high schools offer specific technology subjects as electives that include:

  • information processes and technology
  • software design and development
  • computing applications
  • information and software technology
